Trisha’s birthday

Petite actress Trisha who was recently seen in Theen Maar movie has completed almost a decade in film industry. And she is still among one of the top heroines in South cinema. This is a rare feat especially for the heroines of this age. Any actress’s lifetime as a heroine is hardly around four to five years, but Trisha is an exception to it.

Trisha is currently doing Bodyguard remake with Venkatesh and she is likely to star in a big film. She is still among the hottest in Tamil cinema and is seriously looking to make a mark in Bollywood. It is Trisha’s birthday today and she is celebrating it with her family members in Chennai. "Brought in my birthday with my family and best friends at home. Was a touching moment I'll forever cherish,” Trisha tweeted. Let us wish her great fortunes on this birthday.

Madhavan to pair up with Trisha

It is learnt that the successful Bollywood film ‘Tanu weds Manu’ is being remade in Tamil, with Madhavan as hero. As per indications, Trisha is all set to pair up with Madhavan in this remake.

Incidentally, Madhavan played the male lead in the Hindi version too.

Trisha says, ‘I am comfortable and ready to work with Madhavan. Basically, he is a very good artiste. I am going to replace Kangana in the Tamil remake.’

It is worth mentioning here that Madhavan and Trisha had earlier worked for ‘Manmadha Banam’. Presently, both the hero and heroine are busy with their individual projects and the remake may hit the floors in June.

Trisha In Tanu Weds Manu Remake

"Right now I'm selective about the roles I accept. If I have to wait, I'm prepared to wait. All my decisions are based on my instincts and the results are there for all to see. Its only the good subjects and stories that draw me to a film. I think it's time for me to do something different. Hopefully, the audience will accept me in such roles," quips Trisha.
The Hindi hit film Tanu Weds Manu is being remade in Tamil and Madhavan, who played the lead in the original, is thinking of roping in Trisha as the heroine. Trisha too is keen to do the film. She says, "I am very comfortable working with Madhavan. He is a very good actor. If everything goes well we will work together again in Tanu Weds Manu remake." The duo had earlier played their characters with aplomb in Manmadha Banam. At the moment, Madhavan and Trisha are busy with their respective projects. The Tamil remake is expected to go on floors in June this year.
